Officer Nicholas Vella was tragically killed on Saturday, February 19, 2022, when the Huntington Beach Police helicopter, HB-1, crashed into the waters off Newport Beach. Nick leaves behind a wife and teenage daughter.

To support Officer Vella's family, the First Responder Whiskey Society has released this commemorative bottle to honor him. A portion of net proceeds to FRWS from the sale of the bottle will be sent to his family.
