The First Responder Whiskey Society  is releasing a memorial whiskey bottle honoring fallen  El Paso County Sheriff's Office Deputy Andrew "Z8" Peery .  This bottle is being created and released with permission and in collaboration with Deputy Peery's Family. Our charity will donate 100% of the net proceeds to Deputy Peery's family.

Deputy Sheriff Andrew Peery was shot and killed while responding to a shots-fired call at 5:30 pm at Ponderosa Drive and Grand Boulevard in Widefield.

A Fountain Police Department officer, Deputy Peery, and another deputy responded to a shooting call. When they arrived in the area, they were immediately met with gunfire. Deputy Peery was transported to UCHealth Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds at 8:07 pm.

A woman was found dead in the home's front yard, presumed to have been shot by the subject. The subject committed suicide inside the home.

Deputy Peery was a United States Army Operation Iraq Freedom War veteran who had served with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office for six years and was a SWAT Team member. He is survived by his wife and two children.

This commemorative bottle of whiskey has been created by Liberty Call Distilling in San Diego California. The company is marine owned and a friend to all first responders. The bottle boasts superior quality work compared to other engravings because it is sandblasted, not just etched. The whiskey is a delicious straight bourbon aged a minimum of 3 years, then double aged for a minimum of 6 months in small charred oak barrels.

The bottles can be shipped across the United States except for the restricted states of Alabama, Alaska, Hawaii, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, and Utah.

Please allow 7-10 business days for processing and 3-5 business days for shipping as each bottle is custom made per order.
